Prompt 10: Describe a date you’ve been on when you had a lot of fun.
The first thing that came to mind was a date we went on just a few weeks ago.
We went to a PostModern Jukebox concert. You know those people on youtube who re-do popular modern songs into old-timey, do-wappy jazzy numbers from the 30s, 40s or 50s?
No? Well, you should get on that- check out their youtube channel here.
Anyway, they do concerts and they came to Iowa City and Rich got us tickets for my Christmas present. And I loved, loved, loved it.
Going to a concert isn’t a super original date idea, but it was really fun to get dressed up and go out together since most of our dates consist of us and Netflix and a bowl of cereal (which is my second favorite date option 🙂 )
Ok your turn! What is a fun date you’ve been on together?
Remember, even thinking it in your mind can help fill your love tank. So even if you don’t comment- think about it! And if you are joining our monthly challenge, send the answer to your spouse in a text or email or note.
Oh! And I put all of the love prompts into a handy dandy printable so you can print it out, fill them out and give all the love letters to your spouse as a gift! Perfect Valentine’s day gift! Here’s a sample of the first page:
