IIIIIIITTTTTTTTSSSSSSS LAUNCH DAY!!
That’s right, today is the day! We are launching our new podcast Marriage Theraoke!
The podcast where we take popular love songs and give them the relationship therapy they need.
In episode one, we’re are therapizing (can you tell I’m not a real therapist??) the popular 90s hit single Breakfast at Tiffany’s where the only thing the couple can remember having in common is liking the movie Breakfast at Tiffany’s.
In this episode, we sit this song down and examine the question, how much do you really NEED to have in common to make a relationship work?? We’re going to hit up advice from John Gottman and Jennifer Finlayson-Fife in our discussion, and at the end, Rich is going to greatly improve the song with new lyrics to help the couple in the song out.
Hope you enjoy! You can listen here:
Our podcast will be on ITunes/ Apple podcasts in the next few days so you can subscribe there. We are also currently on Stitcher, Spotify and Podbean. Or you can join our podcast email group to receive emails whenever a new episode drops.
From here on out, there will be a new episode every Thursday!
Until then, feel free to enjoy Deep Blue Something’s music video of Breakfast at Tiffany’s.
(Trying to channel their confidence today as they enjoy a formal meal in the middle of a busy New York Street.)
You both have nice speaking voices. I enjoyed your podcast!
Thank you so much Lorna! So appreciate you commenting!
